Please join us and link your creations for a chance win a $25 store credit to Cas-Ual Fridays Stamps.                                        ENTER HERE------->>>>  Love to Scrap Challenge Blog I made two cards using the Cas-Ual Fridays Little Birdie stamp set. I used Zig markers to color in the birdies for both cards. I love how they blend so easily on Bristol Smooth card stock. For my first card I was in a rainbow mood. I used Bristol smooth card stock with the MFT cloud stencil and distress oxide inks. I had fun with this 😂. The little birdies are so cute. You can't see it in the pictures but the sentiments have little hearts in the O's. I added clear Nuvo drops to finish off the card. I love how they pick up each color of ink used. For my second card, I used MFT radiati

April Love to Scrap Challenge Blog #120 - Male Call

Image
Hi everyone. It's April 1st and that means the start of a new LTSCB #120 Male Call. I am so excited to participate for this month because we are creating masculine cards with stamps from Bugaboo Digi Stamps .  I don't have many masculine cards. I hear these types are cards are harder to create and I can see why. Most of my stamps are floral or frilly, LOL.  ------>> CLICK HERE   to join the challenge <<--------- YOU COULD WIN DIGI STAMPS!!! Look at this adorable little guy!!  Let's get into how I made this card.  I colored him with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers on some Strathmore Bristol Smooth card stock.  This is the best card stock to use with Zig Markers. Because they are water based brush markers they blend very easily. I tried to do a fade out in the letters for DAD.  The patterned paper is from Scrapping for Less. I love the metal arrow for embellishment. My second card I used Zig Markers again. This is my favorite medium to use

March - Love to Scrap Challenge Blog

Image
Hi all.  Welcome to the March Challenge on the Love to Scrap Challenge Blog .  This month's challenge is Anything Goes sponsored by  DRS Designs .         To join this month's challenge ------->> CLICK HERE      This month I used this stamp from DRS Designs called  Dogwood Branch .  I wanted to do an ink smoosh technique and a watercolor technique with Distress Oxide Inks. I like the control of placing the watercolor myself.  The ink smooshing came out a little to abstract for my taste, LOL!! Which technique do you like best?      For both cards I used Canson XL watercolor paper.  For the distress oxide inks I used Picked Raspberry, Salty Ocean, Crushed Olive, Mowed Lawn, & Aged Mahogany. Neenah Solar White 110lb for the card base. I topped them off with Studio Katia iridescent sequins.   I hope you like my projects.  Hope you'll join us for this month's challenge. Can't wait to see what you come up with. XOXO ~Renee

Blessings for a New Year

Happy New Year everyone.  I am wishing all of you the best for 2019.  I wanted to start the year off with a monochrome color Blessed card I made with the fabulous Erin Lee Creative products using the  Wreath Stencil . I started with SSS Mint  Card stock . I used distress ink in Cracked Pistachio to add color to the stencil.  It was a little darker than the card stock which turned out nice. I then used applied a light shading of the same ink to a white card stock and cut out the SSS Blessed die cut twice to make it more dimensional.  I embossed a sentiment in white from the MFT Anything But Basic Friends Stamp Set . Finally I added some clear droplets from Pretty Pink Posh . I added my card panel to a white Neenah 110lb card base. For my second card, I did the same process but left the Blessed die cut white to make it pop more and added the card panel to a Neenah Desert Storm 80lb card base. I love the way this one looks. I left off a sentiment to keep
